The "Blondie" Association
The “Blondie” Association is dedicated to helping sick newborns abandoned in hospitals.
Its main aim is to assist severely sick children with getting the medical care they desperately need by flying them to countries where they can receive the proper medical attention.
Also, it’s the only association dedicated to raising money for purchasing the first aerial ambulance in Romania.

Awareness Campaign during the pandemic
CONTEXT: The first ever flight organized by The “Blondie” NGO was a medical one and took place at the beginning of the pandemic, on March 27. At that time, due to the restriction of scheduled flights, the sick children could no longer return home to the country and remained in hospitals abroad. From that moment, the Blondie Association assumed the organization of medical transports for all patients who needed urgent medical interventions, which could not be done in Romania. Because renting an airliner is very expensive and complicated, The “Blondie” Association set out to buy a plane to turn into a Romanian air ambulance.
